Netflix Recommendations

I've jumped aboard the Ozark train... see the Breaking Bad similarity. Not at that level but a good first season.

Tbh, I wasn't all that about Breaking Bad, even when I'd got to the end of the first series. I took about a year off from it, and didn't particularly intend to go back. I thought it was all right, mind, just didn't understand the mega-fuss around it. A bit meh all round. But I kept meeting friends who said, no, stay with it, you'll see.
I did see. It gathers weight, and force, and general gravitas, season by season. There are very, very few series that you can say that of.

Only the American Office for me. Many wouldn't look past the fact they were following UK script for 2 seasons. After they wrote their own episodes it developed beautifully. So much so, it's quite hard to watch the UK version (mainly due to it looking really dated)

This is true but the third season is the best I’ve ever seen and completely makes up for the weaker second season

Ozark was a decent easy watch for me. I think The Wire and The Sopranos are levels above any other series out there. Breaking Bad seems to win every poll I ever see though.

Check out zerozerozero on Amazon. Have to pay attention because there are subtitles but its fantastic.
