Is it possible to get access to the American servers on Xbox?

sure I saw something on the net about it
google it, and I'm sure youll find it
I dont have an xbox so not sure if you can change the settings

update - just googled it. you can do it on the xbox as well.

Step 1: go on you xbox go to System then network settings and click on the connection you are using

Step 2: click on "Configure network"

Step 3: In the "Basic settings" tab choose the one where it says "DNS Settings"

Primary: 173.199.144.68
Secondary: 206.214.214.28

As already said, change your DNS settings to the american one, so much more choice, and better value for money. So many more great titles.
There was a change for the DNS input today though, try using the following one. Works fine for me :)

Primary - 69.111.95.106
Secondary - 206.214.214.28

What other options appear on the American version?

A lot more well known films, tv shows and a lot more quality to choose from.
The uk version is full of shite, and i would only watch a handful of stuff on there.

I've been mainly watching the tv shows on the us version: pawn stars, family guy, saved by the bell lol.

Used up my free trial but if the american version is good, i'll be tempted to do a month trial for the price.

The American version is damn good for the money. Currently watching Tin Tin the cartoon series with the kidlingtons and just finished watching the 39 Steps Kenneth Moore version. Just wish they'd get dads army.

Watch it direct through my tv via a logitech revue box.
Picture quality is excellent.

Series from 2002 called "15 Storys High" with Sean Lock is well worth a watch.

A film called "The Lives of Others" is excellent.

We've had it for the last 2 weeks and I think the choice is crap really, anything decent I've already got off a torrent ages ago. That said great for my son in hos room via his xbox and picture quality is great.

I've got a Wii in the bedroom so i'll try and get the american version on it (if it lets me change the DNS settings).
