Post subject: Re: When will the panic stop??? Posted: Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:47 am Posted: Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:47 am

Please calm down everyone. We are all Blues who love our team and at times that can naturally get us overexcited and unpleasant to people who disagree with our point of view. I believe and have fairly reliable sources for information that things are not quite what they seem. Firstly do you seriously believe that our owners are in any way naive, they don't get that powerful or wealthy without knowing a thing or two. Secondly we are playing a game with the selling clubs which is being orchestrated from within to unsettle players such as rsc, they will all come in the end if we want them, or do we? A smokescrean is in play at the moment to confuse and to distort what is about to happen. Within 48hours I think your mood will be changed for the better by what will be as exciting news as the summer takeover was. If you have ever done business with Arabs you will understand what I mean, they always come from an unexpected perspective and usually get what they want, at least this type of Arab does. They nor Hughes will let us down, keep the faith and enjoy what is about to happen.

PMSL!

"A four-man delegation, led by chief executive Garry Cook, met senior officials at Milan’s headquarters with the authority to offer a personal cheque from Sheik Mansour for the Brazilian superstar."

Daily Mail, Last updated at 3:31 AM on 14th January 2009.

This is one thing no one ever talks about much: City can afford to pay transfer fees in a single lump sum. Everyone else has to dribble it out in installments. Add to that the Arabs have money in various currencies, they can shift funds to take advantage of exchange rates like no one else.
