Neville Kneville

A very witty and knowledgeable Blue Mooner. When I first started lurking on BM his username always used to crack me up. Lovely tributes on here too.

Condolences to his friends and family. RIP Neville!

Very sad to hear. His positive contribution to this forum was evident for several years. My condolences to those on the forum who knew him.

Sadly Neville Kneville passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning at the age of just 59.

Nev was a massive Blue. Not so much a home and away sort of guy. I think he much preferred going to watch the reserves and the youth team than going to away games. I've known him for over 40 years and over that time we had some memorable times supporting City. Even through the some shite times he used to convince our group we were only ever a couple of players away from the Champions League final.

Nev was a member of this forum since 2008 and made over 36,000 posts and I'm sure his opinions will be missed, even if he did enjoy the odd wind up or spat with fellow members.

As soon as we're back at the matches we'll be in City Sq. raising a pint of warm, flat, dark fruit strongbow in your honour, mate

RIP Nev

Very sad news - the loss of another Blue and a damn decent one at that! RIP Nev ..

Absolutely shocked by this. One of the names I always looked out for and have exchanged/had some really good debates with. 59 is no age ffs.

Condolences to his family and friends.

RIP blue.

Havent been signed up so long but i feel like his name was ever present in various topics. Sad news indeed.

Sincere Condolences to Nev’s family and friends.

If it’s any consolation, he (along with the rest of us) has probably had the best 10 years of city supporting life. A supporters life that none of us ever dared dream of. Be thankful for that.

Every time city win something I think back to a couple of blues I knew who passed away just before the takeover.

Those of us that have experienced it are so lucky.

Rest in Peace Nev.

the tributes to Nev are truly uplifting it’s clear he was an inspiration to all that knew him, taken too soon but clearly made a positive impression on many.

A reminder that we are only here once and time waits for nobody.

My condolences to the family.

Stay strong, remember the times that made you laugh, remember the times that made you proud and then remember the smile on the face when you do.

Take a moment to appreciate your loved ones we often take them for granted.
