Wow the beginning of this thread was one giant clarkie, I lost track of what is real and what isn't!

Personally prefer the St Marks one (fan made) rather than this one, but got to say this looks like the real deal and the 3rd shirt, or thats one hell of a well made picture!

my flatmate worked for umbro in manchester...he said that someone proposed a really nice black kit to city, and the owners shot it down because black is bad luck in their culture. so, apparently they want to steer clear...which is a shame, i'd love a black kit.

On the other thread a guy with a sports store said he had seen the third kit and it had black/grey contrast stripes......just like this one!

Looks quality and does indeed carry over quite a few City traditions: Stripes, black, sky blue and almost perfect for a "Blue Moon" launch!

Wonder how that looks with short sleeves? Bet it looks even better, especially with gold letters and numbers on back!

i don't know man, i'm just telling you what he said. he could be full of shit, who knows? but he did work at umbro. i posted another thing he said in the nike thread, which i found to be a little unbelievable. the guy only moved in last week, i don't know him very well. don't shoot the messenger.

Sounds like you need to shoot the flat mate based on his current success rate. I think you may have just moved in with Walter Mitty cleav !
