I want to know what happened to the shirt your Granddad found and your Dad played in.There were no replicas available in those days. Did it have a number on the back?

No numbers on the back but I (kevs dad) was told it had been worn by City players, it was a short sleaved v neck shirt .

thanks for all the encouragement people, i was a little nervous about sending this one. sometimes i'm confident when i send stuff to toma for the cutter but at other times, like this time, i click submit, re-read it and think it's shite.
nice to see the old man himself getting involved (above). the only other times he's ever posted on bluemoon was to demand the following three things :
1) jo's immediate removal from the city starting line up.
2) the immediate sacking of "that red bastard hughes" throughout the tenure of leslie.
3) that charlotte church be crowned queen of the british female singers contest. he actually had my mam putting up some welsh bunting as the tournament reached the semi-final stage.
