New away kit revealed

The second and third are of far less importance than the home
What I think pisses off the majority is that Nike have given us a dreadful home kit and after all the consultation and the big deal the club has made about the new badge, Nike then give us a fucking yellow one
The kit itself with dark socks would be tolerable, but those yellow socks and what they've done to the badge is truly awful

Rather (meh) for me. The little panels on the "official" player version rather remind me of that one year where we had the "abs" on that black third shirt. Which was much worse looking! (Late Pearce era from memory)

I hate to echo that apparent Nike employee who kept posting in the home shirt thread, but on the whole I don't think they have given us terrible designs since 2013-4. This year, for me, by far being the weakest. If not for that stupid shield I would honestly say I think all the prior year sets were pretty good on the whole.

And I do hate Nike with an absolute passion. The hideousness they inflicted on much of the NFL being reason number one of many.

I'm not bothered about the away kit so much, as it serves a purpose - be different from the home kit - that sait I do prefer more traditional kits, however this is just fucking vile!
The shirt and shorts are ok in themselves, but the yellow used for the sponsor badge etc., personally I think looks terrible - then to make it worse, they make the socks that colour - but they don't 'go' with the rest of the strip... it's like we've had to borrow some socks off the home team due to a clash! I always dislike the mono-badges too... and consdidering the lengths they've gone to creating a new badge, seems stupid to do this to it! If they were going to use contrasting colours for the socks and sponsor, badges etc., why not sky blue? At least that way we could use them at home sometimes and it ties in with the club in some way, and also means they could use our new crest in it's full colour glory!

The worst thing by far though is this load of shite...

That quote is from Nike's website description of our away kit... when what they should have said is "We have a bog-standard template, which our work-experience kid threw a few colours at until we came up with this shite!"

Quite frankly, trying to justify that kit is an insult to the intelligence of every City fan!

"Flexible, breathable crest displays team pride without interfering with your performance".

Hahahahahahaha. Awful stuff from Nike.

Everyone has their own opinions on the new kits.

Fortunately I have my own, which is I hate them all so much there's not a chance I'd ever consider buying one.

However some of the training tops look great, and that's were I'll be spending my pound notes.

Seems the majority of people are with you on that!!!

Incidentally, just realised - the kit reminds me of a Watford away kit..!

Folk were mentioning the worker bee be added to the new badge around the consultation phase.
The yellow socks, and last years glow in the dark kit are appealing to the kids - have a look at their (and the players) football boots.

Didn't mind last season's neon kit - at least the socks matched the rest of the kit!

Nike have destroyed any city tradition with this seasons kits, i actually thought last seasons home top wasn't that bad to be honest, but on a plus side they've saved me £100+ because i wont be going anywhere this seasons horrific tops
