Banners are for scousers yada yada yada, banners come back to haunt you etc etc.

Take it elsewhere.


I was wondering would there be any interest for a banner going up in the Etihad that read.

If there is support for this, maybe it would only go up next Derby day not all the time, leave a comment. It would be a fantastic wind up.

Also If anyone is willing to get involved in collecting donations etc it would be a great help.

Would prefer a banner along the lines of the mock-up posted on here on monday (?). It was based on that famous ''ticker'' banner at the sty and featured two digits, the figure 1 and the figure 5 halfway through changing to 6, perhaps with ''Not in my Lifetime''.
 
I know people say they come back to bite you, but their 35 years one didn't. They got some fucking great times out of that banner, until last season. I'm sure most of them still giggle about it.

For fucking years we've had nothing to crow about, so let's celebrate beating them fuckers 6-1 in their own back yard. Go for it Blue.....
 
I'm all for it. They started it!

Would love to see the ticker one as previously mentioned - takes the mick out of their previous banner and their piss poor display in their cup final.
