Would prefer a banner along the lines of the mock-up posted on here on monday (?). It was based on that famous ''ticker'' banner at the sty and featured two digits, the figure 1 and the figure 5 halfway through changing to 6, perhaps with ''Not in my Lifetime''.

A banner to remember one league game is pretty small time. To win a cup or the league maybe but for one game early in the season is a no for me. Against 10 men as well we have to remember. We would have still won in my opinion but not so handsomely had they had their full 11.

It doesn't merit a banner as the achievement was only 3 points remember.

If it's a one off banner, scrawled with paint on a bed sheet then go for it. If you're suggesting a proper banner then it's not for me. It was a one off game and, enjoyable as it was, it'd look pretty lame to get a permanent banner done for it.
