Boj .... experiment with some on the following:

remove the outer glow and shadow on the crest, and set an indented bevel or inner shadow like you have done to the text.

reduce the opacity of the crest and the text slightly, so the detail of the metal background appears through it, giving the effect that's its been burned into the metal?

change the outer glow on the text to an drop shadow, set the distance to zero and the spread about 10 minimum.

just try a few things to get a continuous look:

I really like the picture but I don't think it needed the score etc. The not in my lifetime summed it all up for me. I'd love to see it without the score. Great pic though :)
