I thought we were nailed on to finish top 3 and here we are fighting to make the top 24.
Might actually be better for City to finish 9th-24th since a lot of our players have missed a lot of football this season and the team has been out of form - an extra round of games will be good for getting those who’ve been out back to full fitness and might allow the team to play back into form.
ATM it’s not about form, It’s about injuries. More games means more injuries. It would definitely be costly for us to play an extra round of games.Doesn’t really matter whether you finish 1st or 24th.

I like it, less repetative than the group stages and not the usual 12 clubs guarenteed to qualify with 4 suprise ones.I think it’s a dreadful format. It's a CL night and I'm not watching it, probably for the first time ever when I've not made other plans. No real jeopardy. TV can spin it all they like, but Real Madrid will make the top 24.
The old format was fine. The problem wasn't the format but seeding the draw so heavily so as to make it virtually rigged.
If it was the ild format we woyld probably already have qualufied but now there is an if bout whether we go through or out, a lot more interesting and hiwever it goes, then so be it

Am I right in thinking that we will have faced 6 champions of their country which seems a bit odd in comparison to other teams
