New computer

Just bought a new computer, still a technophobe tho. In bottom RH corner there is a choice of language box which I can't get rid of, cursor goes behind it.
Causing me probs for scrolling down, next page etc.

Anyone please know how to get rid of it ?

Cheeky c..t, even I'm not that bad. It is the manuf's logo (e machines) and then the language box, and its f.....g annoying
