When I was a young man I used to enjoy the odd dance tune.

I’ve retired from having fun now and the party scene in Manchester and Stalybridge are distant memories for my good self.

However when I was settling in for a night of I’m a celeb and a nice cuppa at the weekend a couple of flashy loud adverts came on the tele with dance music blaring out.

One was a called Ministry of Sound decade 2000-2009, which seemed to have loads of decent tunes on from my day.

There was also a new CD advertised which had one tune that has a distinctive beat and I thought to myself, id have loved that tune years ago. So i whipped my phone out and shazamed this 5 second beat and it was called DVBBS & Borgeous - TSUNAMI (Original Mix)

A single and an album there mate, enjoy.

Just turned up today. Will be annoying the neighbours over the weekend banging this out
It's class, really enjoyed it. New Romy album, also out today, very very good. About to stick the new Public Service Broadcasting album on, also out today. Been a good day.

also came out today, new roisin murphy album. today's been amazing for new tunes

You had me at about three seconds

Will give that a listen!
I love how they've been consistently brilliant their whole career. Orbital and Leftfield are still going, even saw Leftfield at blue dot this summer and they were brilliant, but they're trading off their old tunes. The chems have never stopped putting good albums out. Playing the arena in October, that'll be class.

new chemical brothers album. they've done it again, fucking magnificent

Turn that up loud and all the dogs in the neighbourhood will join in the screeching. It's not their best work is it. Drum beat sounds wrong as well. And the woman singing sample.

Will see if I'll buy it or not. Its not grabbing me at all.

I loved it, one of my favourites off the album, on first listen anyway.
