Not watched one episode of this new series it gradually gone done the shitter last 6/10 years! Just nostalgia that kept watching it for me now they should go back to the style of the doctor from the 70's even set it in that decade because where they are now it's utterly shite

I don’t think it should be taken seriously and just a bit of fun that Billie piper is the new doctor

Can't help himself can he? Builds upto something big. Writes an easy way out 30 mins in. Then does the Tennant farewell tour again.

Not far off. Ran out of story at 40 minutes (to no great surprise), although there were actually a couple of well-written exchanges in it in among the whizzy special effects budget.

The Rani's plan made no sense - and she was a rational chemist originally. What a crap way to go out.
The Bone Beasts... they will walk towards you very very slowly but then it becomes clear that they have no actual attacking threat.

Pretty much all of Gatwa's stuff isn't science fiction, it's telefantasy and is just bad Grimm stories. Too much magic as Davies goes for the half-written 'I'm so clever' method.

Isn't this the last of the Disney contract, apart from the UNIT miniseries?

Assuming that the next one is a one-off special, presumably that makes it Christmas 2025 or 2026, and I reckon it'll be one and out for Piper. If Davies is still involved, it'll be saccharine trash.

It was the Sutekh story from last year with the names changed.
