Ball retention is key. Kova wasn't meang to be the main man in CM more a foil to Rodri.. now he has more responsibility without the talentbto play there. Akanji doesn't half make some odd decisions.. love his attitude mind

I don't have an issue with any of the players, they've done so much for us and we're due a wobble. No one comes close to Rodri. Kovacic is excellent at attacking space in the middle of the park but the reason he has never been the main man is because what comes next is often lacking. He destroyed Ipswich then went and put in a horror show in Paris where they closed him more quickly and he just ran into trouble of gave it away.

This system helps create more space for us in the attacking third, plugs the middle of the pitch and gives us more time and opportunity to prevent the opposition getting at an exposed defence. And its a great watch too!
