I'm meh in this but really don't want the others.

I'm on other sites with avatar's, they add nothing.

As for emojis....maybe it's my age, it'll clutter up the place. I do use them in texts etc so they fall into a time & a place which Bluemoon isn't.

Standing on a fine line, between this and that
Out of all the available things we can vote for, this is the only one i've voted in favour of.
Same. I was unsure about the like button when it was introduced (yes seriously) but now it’s there I see no difference in having alternatives in its place. Someone posts about their dad dying and all you can do at the moment is ‘like’ it. Maybe a sad face would be more appropriate

I'd be happy with just a dislike or equivalent option alongside the like option. If I made a complete arsehole of a post and got a load of dislikes, i'd personally be less likely to engage in that moment with the dislikers than if I would if my post was getting quoted and I was getting dogs abuse. I think it's a better way to express negative feelings towards a post rather than getting pulled into a war of words.

Trouble is there could end up with 4/5 different ones on the same post, one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter syndrome.
