to me Umbro is a bargain brand sold at sports direct. Nike and Adidas is a higher class brand worn by the champions league elite. Also Inter have Nike and Milan Have Adidas that is where i got the rivalry bit from :)

Adidas by and large make crap kits, look no further than Chelsea's this season and for a lot of seasons 2bh.

I like Umbro
All the City kits and the last few England kits have all been really nice since they went to the 'Tailored in England' route.
They are a traditionally local manufacturer, but also known throughout the world
I would be very doubtful that Nike would be on the shirt (They own Umbro anyway) due to the fact that are already do the rags

There is no logic in that though. They have London sewn up with rags and Arse so they might as well up the sales in Manchester

I prefer that our kits are made by Umbro and the common consensus is that umbros tailored range has the best designs and they are unique rather than just changing the colours round on addidas and nike kits. In regards to it being sold in sports direct - does that matter? If it does then you should know they sell umbro stuff in House of Fraser and I dont remember seeing other sporting brands in there.
