I would love this to be true, but I'm with you Fats. Is DeJong a defensive midfielder aswell as this Albiol? if so why would we want three DM? or will King Komps move back into a central defender? Answers please on a postcard. :)

albiol is a centre half or DM, so reckon him and vince at back or maybe away 2 dm's in vince and de jong.

Cheers Rick, don't always get the chance to follow Spanish football with work. I suppose the fact that Didi is out is an important fact that we are seriously short of DM, infact one injury to Vinny and we would be completely in the poo!

I reckon its common knowledge that MH will be out in the summer as he clearly is going to be out of his depth handling the international talent at our disposal. My gut tells me that Scolari will be our next manager.

It seems plausible to me that Villa is a done deal.

MH seems to have given up on RSC, I think if Villa was not in the frame, thewn we'd be after Michael Owen or Podolski, or someone of that ilk.

We'll definitely have another striker by February 2nd, Villa and Albiol fit the bill for what we need

i disagree and think that only time will tell. if hughes does well and we pick up points and finish maybe 6-8th in the league come may i think hughes may well be given a chance. im sure he has already spoken to adug about his plans for the summer, next season and the famous "10 year plan." if his vision and plans fit in with adug's and we do well in the second half of this season with the new additions and all (please come kaka!) im sure hughes will be given a chance.
