the old crest was,,,well ok.But present one is awesome.You/anybody knows it instantly.

Why not put the old badge on the sleeve opposite to the premier league badge? Or possibly the Manchester crest? One option to keep fans from all generations happy.

Could be reading in to it too much.I wanted the old crest for years but to be honest after the publicity this year the new one is a world known brand.

Maybe they're thinking of taking the stars off the new crest because it's confusing when selling the shirt overseas, due to the fact that most european teams use that as a sign of how many European/CL trophies they've won.

Just a thought?
