Not the real one that we'll have when we sign with Nike, but still what do you think about this shirt?

Fucking hell that is absolutely gorgeous!
is there no way the club would do a sort of comp so city fans could decide the exact design of the kits?? surely that way the fans do all the work and the club have more chance of selling as they know its what the fans want?

I assume you must all be new to Manchester City, so just a quick history lesson. We have worn blue shirts since 1894. We have worn blue shirts every season since, that is 108 years.

For one year out of those 108 (in 2006) we wore blue shirts with white sleeves. This shirt was extremely unpopular with the clubs fans, because white sleeves does not represent the identity of Manchester City. Hope that helps.

Well said mate. That shirt is gash. If we ever ponce about with our home shirt again by sticking white sleeves on it then there should be a mass boycott on buying it. And don't get me going on blue shorts either!

I don't like that one bit. Doesn't look like a football shirt at all. Looks more like something Prince Charles would wear to play Polo.

Completely agree on the blue shorts mate, we are not Coventry. There was about a 90% disapproval of the blue shorts before last season. Unfortunately it might be down to about 70% for the next few weeks because we won the league in them, but City's home kit should always have white shorts.

Doesn't look bad but it's looks more of a polo then a proper kit, would rather see the sleeves blue with a while stripe/hoop instead though.

Thanks for the history lesson :) btw I'm not all new to Manchester City (I actually got that 2006 shirt) and I didn't design that shirt, I just found it on footballshirtculture.com in the fantasy kit section and I thought it was it was pretty nice so decided to post it on here. Don't shoot the messenger ;)

You're welcome! lol. I'm sure Nike will come up with something good, I just hope they respect our history and identity. Blue shirts (with blue arms!), white shorts, blue socks. The can do whatever they want after that and I don't give a toss, but just keep the City kit to City colours.

i'm certain that these too are gunna the kits next season. look at the new england home shirt and compare the stitching to these two shirts, exactly the same on the arms and the sides
