I have always loved a maroon away kit - we used to play in it in the late sixties and early seventies at places like Leeds - and it was an all maroon kit in every way (shirt, shorts and socks and no white anywhere)

uh oh it looks like umbro have returned to their old ways of using templates, with england, rangers, probs city and now sunderland all going with the retro look and all using the same style kit.
Oh well only nine more years of having the same kit as 5 or 6 other teams in the league

Given that that's just been photoshopped, why don't you just wait until our kits come about before complaining about them being templates?
I reckon they'll be good, I've got a feeling that Umbro'll move away from templates. Besides we're their main draw now, so hopefully we'll get a good deal.

And maybe template aint the right word but so far they all:
1. Have collars
2. Are retro
3. All appear to be made of the same material
so i think that last season's uniqueness and individuality may be wearing off

A good photoshop? Have you seen the umbro logo on that shirt? Looks like it's trying to escape.
