New Laptop Advice?

You could get one that'll do you for £350.

You don't need to spend a lot for only doing that. Mine was about £330 six months ago and it has 4Gb RAM and 350Gb HD - plenty of room for mp3 and photos.

Acer -don't like the keyboard though - large gaps between keys and a surprising amount of small bits gets stuck behind. Next one will have keys that are closer together.

i was looking at these
seems good value for what you get, plus doesn't come with all the crap you normally get with other laptop manufacturers which i think slows down laptops.
warranty is pretty decent too, parts and labour.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/range/nspire2330.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/range/nspire2330.html</a>

The nSpire range of laptops are covered against accidental damage and theft when you take out a Novatech insurance policy with zero excess.* They all come with a 1 Year warranty as standard whch covers both parts and labour and additional warranties of up to 2 years can be purchased.*

When things go wrong or you need advice we're by you every step of the way. We have UK based support online, via the telephone (local rate) and instore. Free technical support is included for the life of the laptop.

careful you don't buy one with no OS though, unless you're gonna use linux.
