75 quid ? fucking hell i would have done it over remote desktop for free xD. Would you like office 2010 ? i can get 13 but activation is more complex, 10 you just mount the image and run ms activator.

I was looking at a site that had screenshots of other websites with glaring errors and stupid ones such as the one you noticed.

I need to get a new laptop myself, mine has been 'appropriated'. Might give that Asus one a try, don't really need it to have too much spec as the desktop does everything.

Not too bad at that price, had a quick look at the shops over here and it's €70-80 more so happy to pay the €20 delivery.

I may order one myself for general usage to Aguero. I won't mind if it gets a bump in transit at that price, it will play a hd film on the train so that will do for me.

Amazon has a few decent offers also on second hand/older model lappy's

Yeah I just need something for round the house with a bigger screen than my phone and I can't stand tablets.

I got my last two computers on line from Novatech. You can currently choose either Windows 7 or 10 or no operating system at all if you want to install your own. There is no bloatware included. The people are helpful and you get free lifetime technical support.

I always buy refurbished laptops. Most of them are less than a year old and run absolutely fine. The odd scuff mark here & there but if you're saving up to 50% on the original price who gives a shit?

Amazon is great. I've just had one delivered for my sons 9th birthday. Having no idea about specs or what it should or shouldn't do (sorry TCIB, I'm computer illiterate, don't hold it against me..ha!) I went for an Asus X555LA 15.6 inch notebook. It was only £290 but since then I've had a gander in Currys/PC WORLD and a couple of other places and haven't seen it for less than £500.

I'm hoping it's more a case of me getting a good deal rather than opening the box and it's an etch-a-sketch..
