New Lass in City Today

Just noticed there's a new face presenting City Today... now what do we all think? The looks I won't comment on, but otherwise I think she's a huge improvement over Nicola McCarthy (I think it was). The new presenter has a much more relaxed, composed style, her tone isn't up and down all the time, and she doesn't start every segment with "Well...".

Is she a permanent replacement though? I do hope so.

Bit harsh?? Nothing to choose between them in my opinion. Good to have a change of face but can't say anything bad about Nicola.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to watch City Today with Nicola. I just think the new presenter is a big improvement over her.

Edit. Have to admire Nicola's enthusiasm though. The kit team special was a pleasant watch, partly because of the enthusiasm but also because we heard more of her normal conversational voice.

On the live Q&A thing the other day Nicola swore off camera, wonder if we got rid. Being holistic and all?*

She's from my neck of the woods and worked for Wigan Warriors until recently. She used to work for Tower FM as well a few years back. She is a Bolton fan, if anybody was interested in who she actually supports.
