I just got called a ****. In fact it’s still happening to this day.

I posted an off colour post a few weeks ago (post in haste, repent at leisure) about fans outside the North West. The real target of my ire was the type of guy I work with from Bristol who dons his Liverpool shirt for every game on Sky and couldn’t show you the way to Anfield if you dropped him off in Liverpool centre. Instead it came out as I can’t understand people from outside the North West claiming to be a City fan.

I got absolutely hung out to dry and quite rightly so. I didn’t bother responding and luckily for me another poster put up some worse views and took the heat off me. You have to laugh at the hypocrisy of this guy’s experience and the fact that most of us have partaken in a full throated rendition of “This City is ours” without any hint of irony.

My message to HaughtonGreenBlue is welcome to Bluemoon. Don’t take anything too seriously and roll with the punches. It gets easier.
