New Midfielder in January

We really need at least 1 new addition, probably a DM in January.
Any chance of us convincing PSG to sell Matuidi, before his contract is up?

For next season, I hope we go, all guns blazing, for Gundogan.
 
I'd go for Matic. Can play holding midfield in a 3, but can also play more proactively as a CM in a 2 if needed. Brilliant physically and far more technically capable than most holdng players with the ability to drive forward in possession. Also, one of the few quality players who'd be available in January, who we could possibly use Javi Garcia as part exchange for
 
Is cabaye really good enough? Decent player but I don't think he would take us to the next level that we need.

Matic, Matuidi, Fernando would be decent options. Rather see us break the bank for Gundogan though even if that means waiting till the summer.
 
james ward-prowse. think he'd be a good backup for fernandinho and a solid one for the future. free kick specialist and has a pretty well rounded complete game. we need a yaya successor but I think that's gotta be pogba come summer. We'd probably hv to wait till summer for ward-prowse too though... Diarra in Jan., ward-prowse & pogba in the summer. Not much of a Rodwell fan but that's mainly bc he never makes it to the pitch...
