Swear I would never listen to any new music if it wasn't for the regular posters on this thread, cheers chaps.

One listen in seems a more 'sophisticated' sound and production than Letter to Self. Not sure if that's a good thing at the moment. I thought Karla Chubb had worked through her issues on the first album but clearly not everything.
 
Thought similar, a bit more matured maybe. The intensity is still there, which is my main thing.

I think last album has a lot more to it than can be absorbed with a few listens. I think this one will be similar, perseverance will unravel more.

But I've alreadynhad the goosebumps a couple times fresh off the bat, so there's that.

Btw, they are also touring and in Manchester in November I think. Part of my upcoming barrage, seen them a couple times before, great live. I'd recommend it.

Indeed. Something's Gonna Happen is such a fucking good song.

For something softer, the new Seryn album is worth a try. And their general stuff too

One of my top bands over the last couple of years. Really liked the Letter to Self album as a whole, and the new one lives up to it for the most part imo. Seeing them live again in a month-ish, hope it is as good as previously.

Gonna get my lad to give them a listen and see if he fancies the Albert Hall gig
