I am not saying a decent education isn't a good thing far from it, but it doesn't gaurentee you would make a good PM, as the ham faced shithouse who fucked up the country proves

But its a far better guild when faced with the other alternative being a scruffy git who scrapped two f*cking A levels (And would not get a start at McDonalds on hygiene grounds alone)

Some of the sharpest people I've dealt with could barely read and write - and I've encountered plenty of Oxbridge graduates who they would eat for breakfast, outside the latter's rarified comfort zone.

Totally agree, I know several just like that including, a lad I went to school with who became a millionaire in the seventies and could neither read or write, but you put an education on top of that mentality an you have one smart hombre, its just as true to say I have known several ex public schoolboys that are as far away from the chinless wonder tag as you can get when the shit hits the fan, they dont just churn out soft lads.

Oh I don't know, I left college purposely during my A-Levels to learn a career I had a passion for, I am a scruffy **** at times and I reckon I would make a decent PM ;-)

I can also claim to have managed a McDonalds PT for shits and giggles (plus rent money)
So all bases coverered

Yeah, but Jezza had no career, his only show of passion has been towards a complete minger called Diane, is a scruffy **** all the time, and nobody with more than two brain cells thinks he would make a decent PM.

I would no doubt make a far better one, but I can not be arsed (Though I would retract a certain drunks knighthood and make it a criminal offence to be a ragarse)

Same with MBA's. Companies are infested with them. A large proportion have the business acument of a plank of wood.
