New Season 3rd Kit - Oasis - Definitely Maybe

I have been supporting City since 1978 and while Oasis seem very popular with City supporters I personally think they are last. The Fall ,Joy Division,Autechre,Buzzcocks is my personal taste.I would rather a kit designed by Frank Sidebottom. At least we can count our blessings that Mick Hucknall is not a blue!
from a commercial perspective Oasis make all those bands looks like a high school quartet playing the village fete. even more so internationally

Oasis giving priority to City ST holders / Cityzen members for the Heaton Park gig would have been much more meaningful.

Instead, many blues have lost out to a bunch of tourists / rags / and people who've never been to a gig.

Shove the collab up your arse.
gatekeeping who can own stuff

Was in the supermarket earlier and a kid had it on. It’s absolutely rank.

I wouldn’t be too upset about missing out on Oasis tickets. I loved them in the 90s and saw them several times from small venues all the way up to Maine Road. But that was then and I’ve no desire to taint my great memories by standing in a park with thousands of drunk people convinced they’re witnessing the arrival of middle aged messiahs sent to save the world! I’d rather spend my cash on seeing younger hungrier acts that need it more. I avoided The Stone Roses reunion for the same reasons.
Just a personal opinion. I hope everyone going to see Oasis in 2025 has a great time.

Would prefer them without the Oasis logo plastered on it haha but I guess that's the point.

Looks decent if you're both a city fan and Oasis fan though. Not that i mind Oasis, I just wouldn't wear it personally.

No doubt it'll sell well. It would sell well to foreign Oasis fans. I've seen loads of people in other countries adopt city as their English club because they're Oasis fanatics.

Never minded the whole Oasis/City collaboration though. They're both huge in their own right, so it can only be good

For all their worldwide fame and apppeal amongst plastic mancs, floppy haired youngs uns and and 50yrs old reliving their youth Oasis will never be a more better or iconic manchester band than the fall.

worldwide sales or appeal, liam will never be Mark E Smith and a Legend such as he is.

Oasis will never make a song better than many buzzcocks ones or even be more iconic amongst legacy berts as frank sidebottom (or curly watts)

Plus the city transmission t-shirt were done long before these cash cow collection.

Oasis have therir place amongst city famous fans but they are at best equal not more than the ones mentioned.

Yes, I'm glad I saw them in their prime too.
