New Season, Same Sad Stewarding, evan at an Open Day!!

Why not contact the MUEN? They'll always run half a page on any City fan looking glum after being asked to leave a seat reserved for the media or looking a bit puzzled whilst holding up his/her slightly imperfect shirt...

I was also sat in the press area and was one of the p****d of fans, I understand they didnt want fans sat there but it was their attitude, I was causing no problems and neither was any fans, we all just wanted a sit around the tunnel, as soon as the players started coming out, a steward and security guard came up and was shouting for everybody to move, I commented to the steward saying it was stupid and the reasons for moving, she then started asking if i was refusing to move? I got up and ended up standing in the isle along with 20-30 other fans which I am sure is alot more dangerous, If she would of said it nicely and was aplogising, I would be okay its the fact that her and the security guard was talking down to everyone and screaming across the stand for people to move

Firstly if you had already been sat there for 40mins without being moved on by the stewards who were aware of your presence, then I can guarantee that it was not their decision but came from somebody much higher ranked.

Stewards get blamed for many things that they are usually willing to let go but then a voice from the radio tells them to sort out and voila stewards are this stewards are that!

Yeah, this has the aroma of a Deputy Assistant Overseer flexing their muscles. Just where would be be without Middle Managers?

My moan is the fact that we, along with many others were sat there for approx 40 minutes before hand, and the stewards were stood close by, and never said a word, it was only once th eplayers were coming out that they started the fuss. I was not the only one moaning, there were plenty oithers, and yes, at 2,20 there wwere plenty more seats. It was as if they waited for that moment to then show that they had some importance. No Need.
They just seem to want to make life difficult.
And yes, it did ruin my kids day, as where we moved to, he couldnt see, due to others standing for no reason, and others queing in the aisles to get autographs.

And yes, I will be there tomorrow night, and all season, just like the last 34 years.
good man. well enjoy the game tonight. hope the kids enjoy it

To be fair I can only tell you what I summise happened as I am not fully aware of the decision.

However, you were surely aware that these weren't normal seats and thus by sitting in them were taking a risk, I mean if the second tier had been open would you expect to be allowed to sit in Garry Cooks seat!

As for not being able to find a seat for your son to see, I hotly dispute this as there was plenty of empty seats around within a couple of minutes walk, that would have given an excellent view.

On the sad stewarding well you weren't obviously one of the thankful parents who was grateful to the stewards who manage to locate and bring together 3 distressed families and lost kids. Nor, were you the person thankful for the stewards for finding his lost car keys, and thus avoiding a taxi ride to Cheadle!

I won't even mention the two incidents where children had fallen and the stewards had to deal with these with the help of the first aid team, or maybe I will ;)

You see perception is a wonderful thing, and rather than think of the overall picture it is far easier to concentrate on the negative aspects (and help everyone else in their quest to put City down) especially when it effects yourself.

I have said before and will say it again feel free to PM me if you have a problem and I will see what I can do, I can't promise anything as I don't have the powers but will certainly get or give you a decision as to why things happen. There are many an incident that has happened to blues on here where I have already done so.

Lets try and keep the negativity down until we see the whole picture and get both sides to the story.

*takes stewards hat off and puts mods hat back on* ;)
You give people an armband and they think they're bloody Field Marshal Rommel.

I don't need an armband to mimic the behaviour of the revered Erwin. Last nights Panzer encirclement of Littleborough being a case in point - too much foam on a pint, refuse to top it up, live with the consequences.
