I think this is part of the problem though, everyone has different preferences that can't all be catered for, so changing something at the request of a user annoys another user!

Yeah, you'd have to end up doing 1000's of individual versions to please everyone. Best doing it how you want it Ric (tweaking as you go/solving glitches etc) and if small numbers don't like it, they have to adapt to it.

It even looks better on zoom out (1080p res needs a zoom out occassionally) , doesn't comprimise it.

Seem to be a problem with IE6 & IE7 (notoriously difficult browsers) - are you using one of those? If so, I'd recommend using another browser for now or failing that switch back to subsilver2 until we can resolve the issue. Sorry!

I'm using IE8, sublsilver hasn't changed it either. I'll have a look what it's like on chrome later. Not so good for my eyes this font, although I do like the overall look of the site.

Edit Subsilver2 has changed it. No more chinese writing. Ta.

"subsilver2": Has the colour of the posters' monikers been changed from blue to black? I think that is the main thing that is assaulting my eyes.

Not a fan of the Metro blue layout but I like subsilver2 the thread titles seem to be more clear. Don't think there was much to be improved on tbh, Bluemoon has one of the most cleanest layouts of any forum I've been on.

Nothing major but on Chrome the font makes the letter "i" look like a letter "l" on the part of the posts that says "by username", and also on the usernames inside quote boxes. At least it does for me anyway, looks fine on firefox however.

I really like the look of the forum though, and it is also quicker for me too. :)

I've changed the font back on subsilver2 for those who preferred the way it used to look. Hopefully most people will now have an option they're happy with, although no doubt someone now will ask for the Metro theme with the old font. At which point, I'll walk slowly away from my desk, wander over to the window... and throw myself out.

I'll be doing a few more tweaks tonight to address some of the issues raised, so you may need to refresh your browser and clear your cache from time to time if anything doesn't look right. Cheers.

I'm happy with the slight change with subsilver 2, it improves the site without fucking about with any of it's features. Metro Blue is not for me. I already know JTL is on the far right, I don't want to see his name there too.

Font. That's the word Ric. Mine is back how it was now. Thick and black and Black colour on a silvery sky blue/grey background.

As a complete technical idiot - will it stay like this for me or am I going to have to start pressing buttons that I didn't know existed on my Laptop?
