Is there scope for getting a bit of

1. It simply HAS to be sung slowly; otherwise, it will be a non-event.

2. Why not try to follow the original idea, and dedicate it to our biggest rivals (obviously NOT the rags)?

I would start it off something like this:

Scousers, tell us what you were thinking
When you told us you were gonna win the league?

The last line has to be something like:

'Cos Silva is much better than Gerrard!

Then back to the beginning. I'll leave you song-writers to fill in the other lines.

Going to Scotland for 10 days to watch the Commonwealth Games so was a bit worried about ODing on North of the border action.

There's a heartwarming version somewhere where the camera pans round the crowd and someone's wearing our Albiceleste. Bloody marvellous.
