I like the stadium. Atmosphere is shite yes most of the time but thats not because of the stadium, its because if you stand up to scratch your arse for 5 seconds you're out the door.
We've way too much allocation to families that has been taken up by just normal supporters wanting to support their team, make the standing / singing allocation bigger instead, one each end of the stadium. If Hull can get their fans really up for it so can we. Fuck the away fans up to the third tier or second tier.
Take a look at some of the hardest places to win a match in football, the swamp, anfield, celtic park, nou camp, san siro, they fuck the away fans out of sight and out of mind and they let their fans stand in proper sections, not a wee dive on each end of the away support.

Er, It's Manchester City FC you plonker, not "The City of Manchester Football Club", we don't belong to the city, they don't own us, "The City of Manchester Stadium" - aside from being a mouthful, and the acronym (COMS) which sounds like the acronym of some degenerative tissue disease - says it all...the stadium of the City of Manchester, not the stadium of Manchester City...perhaps we should change the name to The Manchester City Stadium?
We need a break from the past, which includes hand-to-mouth tenants in a stadium not built FOR us, with a name not our own.

If the Arabs actually do intend to build a whole new stadium just for us, I'm sure they'll meet resistance.

What happens to the current stadium if we build a new one?
Are we going to be so massive that games will be screened live in COMS2 whilst we play in the new COMS proper? Or is the current stadium going to be made into a giant cafe?
