New system suits Kolorov & Milner

The opposite for me. Whilst they had ok games, the 352 doesn't suit them at all. Neither are quick enough.
 
Definitely agree. Kolarov and Milner were both effective in that position. Milner played really well against Cole.

Kolarov is superb at 1st time crosses.
 
I would just like to say, I predicted that Mancini would go to 352 this season. It was last fall/winter on this very forum where you read it first.

ITK? No. it just seemed obvious.
 
Kolarov particularly impressed me.
ive always been a fan tbh, but defensively I know he isn't good enough.
but with clichy behind him, I thought he did great.
 
Totally agree with the OP this formation will work well with kolarov and milner on either side and will provide the width we are missing, particularly in those games where teams defend deep and we don't need to play 4 at the back.
 
thought Milner and Kolorov were fantastic today, Milner played out of his skin and troubled ashley cole to no end. Kolorov too was awesome whipping in the crosses and giving us width against a narrow chelsea team. happy with both!
 
Was really impressed with Milner in particular today, thought he played really well. Not a natural right mid but he did very well there. Can see this system being persisted with for a while into the season, but it passed the first test today. Think it's good to have it as a backup tactic, even if we do revert to last season's style.
