The ticket office is not capable of running this proposed points system, they can barely do the job as it is.
Example: 17810 divided by 1000 and them multiplied by 2? This is one helluva hard sum for the ticket office. And then there's thirty odd thousand season tickets. Phew! Gonna be some heads spinning! All current points converted to ‘legacy points’ at a rate of 1000 ticket points to 2 legacy points, these stay on forever. These will be rounded up.
E.g 17810 = 36 legacy points
Then a ticket point is awarded 1 per home game and added to your total. These will stay on for 5 years and then roll off. No points for away games as whoring would return.
Also if ticket is not scanned at the gate then a point is not awarded. England do this with their 'caps' so I don't see why City couldn't. This would improve home attendance and atmosphere.
This system rewards loyalty and also gives people the chance to catch up.
I just get sorted for a match - ticket updated on the phone, car park space booked - and they want to buy the ticket back! That’s because the club have got gready creating more and more corporate incentives and realised they can’t meet demand
You get Excel or some other software to do the maths. And automate getting the current points into the spreadsheet. Minimal ticket office involvement.Example: 17810 divided by 1000 and them multiplied by 2? This is one helluva hard sum for the ticket office. And then there's thirty odd thousand season tickets. Phew! Gonna be some heads spinning!
I wasnt at really serious :)How long will the queues be?!
Happened at Arsenal Sunday after an arsenal fan jumped up in our end after their goalEventually there’s gonna be an altercation or two in and an away end someone is gone get a ban caused by the shite ticket distribution caused by our beloved club who used to beg us to buy away tickets when weren’t quite so good !!!
I’m guessing you live local, don’t have children and never have work commitments at weekends or evenings?
Haha or just ticket points / 500 would be easier.Example: 17810 divided by 1000 and them multiplied by 2? This is one helluva hard sum for the ticket office. And then there's thirty odd thousand season tickets. Phew! Gonna be some heads spinning!
