Why would you (or your company) pay £900 for a trip to the swamp? I could understand it had it been in April or May and there was a chance of lifting the title (or sending them down), but not in October.
I'm going as it's local, and I only paid £25 as I'm an FOC.
I would love a loyalty pot ballot, been going since 1970.View attachment 95712
Just seen this on Twitter and Thought it was interesting. The scum have a ‘loyalty pot’ as part of their ballot with an 81% success rate and then a standard pot with 21%. I hope we never go down the ballot route but surely they’d have to do something similar maybe over 25k going in to a loyalty pot or something. Also interesting how they post exact numbers and we get fuck all
I got an email today regarding the terms and conditions of my seats. To my knowledge it’s the first time it ever been offered in this format. The club may just be testing the water. Young Boys away was the other game on the email. That was £800 per ticket.
That’s the whole point of a loyalty system: where do your loyalties lie? If it’s City you’ll be able to go here there and everywhere, regardless of day, time, other commitments. If it’s family, you’ll have to make compromises.I’m guessing you live local, don’t have children and never have work commitments at weekends or evenings?
They had 3 coaches going in 2006/07 circa 150 people from CoMS, and it cost about £150. 1 coach for Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool that season. To my knowledge it’s the first time it ever been offered in this format. Did you go to any of the league cup or FA Cup ties we’ve played against them since 1974?At least you have been to OT recently, I can’t and nor can my boys cos we can’t get tickets. Before you ask, I’ve been watching City since 1974 and had a season ticket since then just missing for 6 seasons over that period due to hard times!
My only chance to watch us away is to pay inflated tout prices.

Used to get the magazine they sent if you ever booked any conference space, even though the booking was nowt to do with football.
Had my season ticket 3 years now and the 18-25 has really helped. Managed to secure CL final tickets and now first prem away day at old Trafford.I’m on high points currently where I don’t have to worry about getting tickets for big games but I think a rolling 3 or 5 year system is more than fair. Must be tough for the young lads nowadays even with the 18–25
There is nothing wrong with the points system, but plenty wrong with the club reducing the number of tickets available to loyal fans in favour of hospitality companies for high- demand games.Nothing wrong with the current model. Plenty of away games for people to go to if they are willing to sacrifice the same as those on 25k points have done.
Always the same crying about loyalty points when the Sh it, Arsenal and Murdering Scum away games come around.
Great idea to scan on exit but with the caveat that identities of ticket holders be cross referenced with social media profiles and one point to be deducted from sanctimonious “I stay to the end I’m a superfan” types who denigrate other blues on said platforms.Scan on exit 5 mins after final whistle to get another point, awarding those that stay to the end
Just ban anyone with a social media profile so people can get on watching the game and cuts out most narcissists.Great idea to scan on exit but with the caveat that identities of ticket holders be cross referenced with social media profiles and one point to be deducted from sanctimonious “I stay to the end I’m a superfan” types who denigrate other blues on said platforms.

Yeah, I've been going to City since I was a kid in the 90s, but it's only been the last few years where I've had the means to go to a number of away matches. I'm happy putting my time in on the coaches to Brighton, Newcastle League cup, or even Chelsea midweek, I don't see why I should be front of the line for United even if I'd love a ticket. I'm squeezing two or three a season in, and making the most of what I get.Nothing wrong with the current model. Plenty of away games for people to go to if they are willing to sacrifice the same as those on 25k points have done.

Cheers for the selfie last game.Just ban anyone with a social media profile so people can get on watching the game and cuts out most narcissists.
One or two on here have a good idea who endorsed it !!!No difference than an 18-25 having the chance of getting a ticket ahead of someone else whose had a season ticket for years but no where near enough points.
Never forget the removal of points for away games wasn't voted on by season ticket holders and made absolutely no difference to ticket allocations. No idea which idiot thought that would work.
