No paid membership and was allowed in yesterday no problem.

I didn't, I got a ticket from a season ticket member and the ticket was sent through the usual channels using my supporters number.

I get the ticket transferred to my friend membership and use that. So that i can still do that?
He can't have 2 tickets.

Just curious, had he added you as Non-member friends & family for ST transfers.

Yes he did but I was on his list anyway, I think it's shocking what the club has done to blues regarding tickets.
Saw fewer camera happy types yesterday to be honest, don't know if it's because of the new stipulations or now.

My daughter was away so put it on the ticket exchange, low and behold a rag was sat in her seat !! How is this possible ? Does anyone know who to contact at the club ? Have we a new liason ticket guy ? If the rags had scored i think he would have got lynched, he was foreign so that probably saved him, he did the poznan in the end :)

I thought you had to have a paid membership to be transferred a ticket is that not right?

No it isn't right, your benefactor can add 3 of their friends and family onto a special list, those people on that list can receive tickets as normal.

Gotcha thanks. Apologies just to expand on that, if I needed one for me and my kid - they'd need two supporters numbers now to transfer the tickets to or just mine that I'd usually use can still receive the 2 tickets? And, can friends and family be added/changed any time by those selling? Apologies for the questions, I can't be the only one on the confused side.

My reading of it is that yes you'd need to have two memberships on the special friends and family list to receive 2 tickets.

Ta mate. Oh to go back to the good old days when it was easier!
There is some confusion within the answers to this question. You can still buy from here but the seller will have had to set up their own free city account and added it to their allowance of 3 non matchday paying members in there family and friends.
Once this has been done the seller can transfer to the new account. The new account will receive an email with a link to download the ticket to a wallet. October is when ST holders will have another chance to set this up
This email allows the seller to forward it someone else as anyone can download the ticket to their wallet.
PLEASE NOTE: If you receive one of these emails download the ticket immediately as the email can be sent to any number of recipients and you may not get your ticket.
