New Times article

Sorry-new subject but i cant work out how to start a new top

So tell me everyone - just how many Chief Execs of Premier League Clubs would come down to a Supporters Club Party the night before the derby and mingle with normal fans until 11.00 p.m? Well that's what Gary Cooke did tonight at the Poynton Celebration of 5-1, 20 years on, and he gave a fabulous speech about the fans being his first priority at the football club and his vision of the club and how to deliver that. Very, very impressed with him - top guy, top businessman and even if there was an element that he "had" to be heard to be saying most of the things he did say, they came across sincerely and genuinely - hats off to the bloke. Will this get covered by the Pro Big 4 Media who are scared to death of City breaking up the cosy cartel? No...probably not. They are too busy trying to get our centre forward banned for showing emotion.

Enjoyed reading that, especially the bit about Gill. Still amazes me how in this day and age with all the monies invested into the prem how someone like Gill can get away with it without no one complaining.

Anyways well written with a bit of an edge to it.

Brilliant stuff Ric.
If the The Times decide to edit the piece to death, try sending the complete article to out local ‘neutral’ newspaper, the Manchester Evening News. I’m sure they will print the unedited version??
As for getting ‘ocelot’ in an article, what about this?
Colin Bell used to live near me. He came round to our ‘ocelot'.
Never mind!!!

Plus, there was an editorial (no less) in Saturday's Timesabout the pending Manchester derby and the resurrection MCFC.

And I've just found a link for it.

Sorry if posted already..

I also found this pretty funny, especially for an O/S feature.
