new training facility

I did hear that eventually lorrys would'nt be allowed down the new road, apparently the old road would be thier route....makes a bit of sense now in light of the training complex and a brand new road being built with trams on it.

i'm with Tolmie..bit underwhelmed...really hope that ain't the bridge/walkway style. They say the bmx centre cost £24mill....must be something else inside cause the building itself looks pretty shit....loooks like the Tennis gaffs (looks like a Plumb Center) bigger brother.

Spoilt git...

I'm impressed by the video, in fact I love the plans and although it could be said that swapping the green fields of Carrington, directly under the national grid power pylons, for this much maligned area of Manchester might be a mistake. I'd argue it's not, as we do have green spaces on this side of town as well, ie " Medlock Vale, Clayton Vale, Medlock Valley Clayton Hall, the Ashton Canal renewal corridor" we've even got a Marina in Droylsden ;) and load's more places of interest.

Underwhelmed? Are we really are becoming so spoilt that this project is thought of in those terms?

This will be the best training & youth development centre in the world FFS.

What do you expect to see out of a Torquay hotel window...

Who's looking out of a Torquay hotel window..it's a blank sheet, some folk were creaming themselves when the floor got painted blue & white, granted it's a few steps up from 'No Parking in front of the gates' but that also looks shit to my eyes....unless City insisted on overpainting the foot of the walls and bollards.

I fail to see how anyone can be underwhelmed with the plans, they look fantastic and whilst they might not benefit the fans directly show great progress by the club.

So much for our owners not being in it for the long haul, eh?

I just hope they come to fruition, and don't remain on the drawing board forever more like the super casino and Liverpool's new stadium.......
