Our main TV is on its way out and I'll be really sad to see it go as it's been a belter. It's a Toshiba surround sound thing that cost me about a grand 13 years or so ago.
Anyway, looking about now and how electronics have dropped in cost, I'm looking at a budget of £600 for a new one
What do you think of this 42" Toshiba? Or for you anoraks (BT) is that Sense one miles better value?

This is mine. 37" is enough and get a PS3 and a subscription to lovefilm for rental of films and games and you're laughing.

which magazine swears by panasonic as do I.

£600 is plenty, comet just knocked 15% off a fair few models

don't bother with warranty ,and haggle
