New Year's Day PL fixtures

Just seen the dipper first pen (second was generous too), Alcaraz and Routledge sending offs, Rob Greens handball 2 yards outside the box....WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WITH THE STANDARD OF REFEREEING?

Abysmal at best.

If Chelsea lose John Terry or Matic for any length of time things will get more interesting.
We have been missing Kompany, Aguero and Silva for a lot of this season. Just imagine if things are reversed and Terry/Cahill/Hazard/Costa go down? And if they keep playing the same XI than it can only be a matter of time before their first XI wears down.
Said the same thing after the Bunley match .
They had the spine of there team all season .
We haven't .
Plus Chelsea have favourable decisions by referees .
The way i see it we will win this title again .

Yeah, Hopefully the return of Aguero and Kompany will offset losing Toure for a few weeks. After January, our run-in is pretty straightforward except for away days at Spurs, Pool and United.

Have you learnt nothing from the Burnley game? Don't take anything for granted, ever.

What a sensational performance from Harry Kane

That Spurs v Chelsea game blew me away yesterday evening and the performance of Harry Kane and his goals and contribution was outstanding. He destroyed what is a very good defence

We've had occasions before when young players have come along and been amazing, and then a season later and they are nowhere so we have to be careful.

What is significant about Kane is that the backroom staff and Tim Sherwood knew he was good, and played him and played him for almost 2 seasons now. At first he was no good. But slowly he has developed and grown in confidence.

He got games in part because Spurs did not have many forward options. Can you ever see a young kid at City get the chances he has had?

Much talk about the atmosphere. There was a lot of excited City fans spilling out of the pubs yesterday evening. Singing and shouting in the street. Could do with a bit of that atmosphere in the stands
