down the beach for us, they take it seriously here, loads of fireworks and the burning of effigies, its the best place I have ever celebrated the new year, and I`ve seen a few.

Mate across the road is having a piss up, he’s a Bristol City fan and his brother in law a West Ham fan so luckily football won’t be mentioned tonight hopefully,need a stiff drink after that showing today

Just booked a Thai restaurant in Quinta Do Lago for dinner and heading down to the beach after with a cooler with champagne and beers to see the fireworks in Vilamoura - Suspect we will be on our own....looking forward to saying good riddance to 2022 for a few reasons.

Cancelled dinner now after watching that... heading straight to the beach to take a repnol and Champagne cocktail followed by a brisk swim
