New York City FC

Burnley 16/17 would be proud of their home/away record. What is it, 6 or 7 games without a win away?

Where have they got these defenders from? Ffs I have seen much better at National North Level.I know the budget is spent sparingly on defences over there but NYCFC are taking the piss with these 2 Centre Backs, awful players.

Angelino/ Facey went there but maybe with the new man in place they might request a couple more.

You have to take into consideration a couple of things.

Firstly, the average standard of defender is pretty low out there.
Secondly, most teams have their best players (the designated players) up front against these players.
Lastly, as we've seen with City in 16/17, Liverpool prior to last year under Klopp, and many more teams; playing a very high risk kind of attacking game generally requires the players in those teams to be of a certain standard. Otherwise, it can go awfully, and massively expose whoever is in your defence.

Put all these together, and boom.

All good points - you also should add that the quality of the league has to be in question when Bradley Wright Phillips is a legend!
