Just caught the end of that match, surely they should have slowed things down and ran the clock down at 2-0 though? Am I right in thinking they were the better team and can count themselves unlucky not to take all 3 points? How did Saunders do?

Knew it would come down to that. Opposing teams just need to press high and just keep crossing the ball in late. There's so many guys in that narrow box you'll strike eventually. Just wear them out. They are lazy marking opposing players.
