New York City FC

Does anyone know if their games generally sell out? Going to be in New York in October and wouldn't mind taking in a game (to see the Yankee stadium as much as anything), but don't know if I'll need to get tickets in advance.
Have you been to the "Big Apple" before Ric?

Nope, first time visiting the States.
Amazing City mate you'll love it, there's a thread in off topic about things to do there if you need some ideas depending on how long you're going for?

Don't forget to pop in the Mad Hatter if you're over there and City are playing.

You can walk up to the ticket office at yankee stadium on the day and buy tickets and there's some good bars outside.

The best place to sit is in the bleakers as there is a singing section where they really get into it. It's mad seeing the Nyc fans get passionate about a club that's only been going 2 seasons and inspired by gods own team in Manchester.

NYCFC doing well, nice to see Lamps on the up with Keane and Gerrard shuffling off home before the ref got off the pitch after la galaxy lost... again :-D

Viera showing he could be a very good coach, demands the starting from the back stuff just like Pep.

I go to NY in 2 weeks, unfortunately NYCFC are playing away but New York Red Bulls are at home. Anybody been? Are they worth my time?

I would suggets you try and get to a Giants or Jets game. NYCFC play in an iconic stadium which is worth taking in but the red bulls are bang average in every way. If you were visiting some english market town would make an effort to go see Bradley Wright Philips?

Just looked at tickets for a giants game, lowest price is £150 a ticket... Think il be giving that a miss!
