Even allowing for our fantastic run at the moment (coupled with Newcastle's woeful current form), that's bizarre. The same long odds for a home team to win by a specific score as the away team to win by 6 times that score. In a cup game, where the home team is a lower league team up against a PL side, you could understand it. But in a league game? Has that happened before?

I’m often quite cautious, dare I say pessimistic, before many games but think we’ll win comfortably tonight. Newcastle are just one of those teams that we always seem to do well against in recent times. I’ve probably cursed it now though.

You should be banned for making those type of optimistic comments.... I think tonight will be tough - Newcastle will give it a go and we’ll need to be patient.

Ooooh, those City fans who had Wigan in the FAC Final might be tempted to put a bob or two on The Mags!

If Newcastle give it a go then that would open up the game & make it easier for us i reckon.

I remember having a tenner on Blackburn to win by any score at the swamp in 11/12 @33/1, not sure about home teams though. That Derby team maybe.
