Think this will be a bit of a grind,1-0 and no injuries will do
Are they cloggers?

I think this answers your question Karen....

Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles says they are plotting to get tough with City and bully them off the St James’ Park pitch.

“We need to make it as difficult as we can, small fouls and we need to make it physical with them. Don’t let them play pretty football.”

"Best league in the world."

Anything can happen in a one off game, but Newcastle’s team are nowhere near the level of ours. Until their last match they had taken 1 point out of 27. With the last game they have 4 points out of 30. Most of their team are Championship quality at best. Barring a disaster, we should beat them.

If there is no Spanish Dave I'd like Bernado centrally tonight.
Gundogan did an excellent job deputising for him against the spuds why change?

Bernardo is a wonderfully skillfull player, who will no doubt in time be a huge crowd favourite. however, I think, as of now, he lacks the physicality needed to be used from the start in most prem games, and is much better coming off the bench once the opposition have begun to tire.

To do that, they've got to get near our players. Therein lies their problem. They'll be too busy chasing the ball and catching breath to do that.
Far better teams have already tried this - and failed.

Gundogan stepping in for Silva is something that should have long term benefits.

Obviously you wouldn't wish these circumstances on Dave, but him having a few weeks rest and Gundogan getting a run of games to get back into something approaching his best form will pay off massively for us in the spring.

I hope Brahim takes a spot on the bench (Foden did previously but obviously with him being injured it should go to Brahim or another kid).

Quite fancy Aguero to score another couple.

And if we get an early goal then they'll have to abandon that game plan and actually play football.

Genuine question - Why?
I just think Newcastle have just had a great win away from home, the crowd will be right up for it and at some point our run has to end. I think the run will end at one of these next 2 games. Hope I’m wrong of course.
