£78 from Manchester I think.

Man-York, York-Newc, Newc-York, York-Man can be done for £36 if you book singles. £10+£7+£10+£9.

I get 75% of a journey through work, so I only looked at the Man - Newcastle journey (still changing at York), wouldn't get the discount if I split it so never looked.

£18 return, can't be argued with.

Dunno but when my lad got his ticket he tried to get a place on the Official Coaches (full) he was then given a phone number of a lady who runs extra coaches (full) .. he then put out a mail on BM and got a place n a coach leaving from The Nelson in Didsbury (BTW thanks to all you lot !!)

Wish I was going as well but on aged parent duty this week, bless 'em (both from S Wales and rugby fans in their 70s and 80's now ,domiciled in N Yorks , but look out for City ..

Spent Sunday in the pub in Krkbymoorside with
a) the only Blue in the village
b) 2 fookin rag plastic barmen (actually OK for a bit of banter, as they were so far our of their depth)
c_) Boro fan who actually knew his onions
