Yes, cheapest day to stay at Travelodge.

Managed to get in the Sandman for £150 for 3 of us in a big studio room on the Saturday night.

Was originally Premier Inn Quayside but they won't allow 3 adults in a room due to policy

Stayed there about 3 seasons ago. Great being so close to the ground, and the sports bar attached to the hotel is decent for pre-match drinks.

If you're after a late drink though, they like to close early on a match night, and that's the only bar in the hotel.

Gateshead team valley hotels, premier inns, holiday Inn near the metro centre.might work out a bit cheeper and only a short taxi ride to Newcstle.
