Remember what they were like in 76 in League Cup final .plus at Colin Bells comeback .also in Cup late 70s at St James .Before Keving Keegan took over they were getting poor crowds at times .Like the scousers the press rewrite history about them
He'll just take some more coke to ease the pain, then his mum will tuck him in with a hot water bottle, he'll go to school all week before being 10 men again come match day
Was about 10 feet from it all and still not sure exactly what happened.
The general consensus was this.
One of our younger adults started giving this Geordie shit about the size of his Mrs. The Geordie took exception to this and decided to come into our bit. He did this and headbutted the young man, who promptly hit his attacker. This caused him to cartwheel over and smash his face and back of head on the steps/ground.
He then decided to act ten men when being escorted out .The confusion came as he was quite happy to chant "city, city, city" back at the Geordies on his way out. So i can't be 100% certain it wasn't blue on blue fighting.
One thing is for certain, he is gonna sober up and find himself quite badly injured.
Knobs pal see em week in week out trouble is it's usually normal match going fans who get caught up in itI honestly think he might have been a blue, he seemed way to passionate about chanting city at the Geordies.
He must have been about 25 too.
He was a City fan who'd took his mrs a Newcastle fan with him. She was a bit too gobby and when City fans told her to do one he put the head on a lad who promptly one arrowed him.Was about 10 feet from it all and still not sure exactly what happened.

No reason for the self entitlement either. Hardly any of their fans have seen success, unless they’re over 70!They do love a messiah. That’s the criteria when appointing a manager, that he becomes a messiah.
Fuck off newcastle. Just fuck all the way off. Self-entitled fuckers.

To be honest I get the resentment. Part of football tribalism. I remember being very resentful about Chelsea, and took huge glee from us beating them at home 1-0, circa 2004?From what I’ve seen they have a huge amount of resentment of our current status. They always have an opinion on our attendances good or bad and spend lots of their time looking for unoccupied seats. This is based on the “fact” they always sell out and never have any empty seats and that the Geordies have always turned up throughout history blah blah blah.
Ironically the same fans sing “wwywyws” when they come to town, a song we sang to them with some justification in the 90s when they all got behind Keegan and spent more money than most and still won fuck all!
Loved that performance. Yaya was unstoppable. To be fair, I remember when we won away at Newcastle before the QPR game. Got stopped plenty of times on the walk back to the station by Newcastle fans saying well done. Maybe some of that good feeling has gone now but thought they were a good bunch that day
I was actually gonna post this the other day - they were very very good with us on that day..............couldn't have been complimentary to us throughoutTo be fair, I remember when we won away at Newcastle before the QPR game. If you’re going to give it out, don’t moan when you get it back.
He was indeed - remember feeling very tense up their but he had one of his unplayable days.......Loved that performance. Yaya was unstoppable.

Newcastle, Everton, one or two others all think they’re bigger or similar size clubs to ours, like we did Chelsea so I expect the resentment of what has propelled us to our new and ongoing run of success. The thing with newfuckingcastle though is they believe they should be treated different to everyone else. The whole ‘understand the club’ nonsense, one club city bull shit and that fucking messiah bollocks. Absolute bell ends.
